Music has always been my compass.
One of my proudest achievements is JFK: The Rock Opera, produced by Steffi Steffan, a bold and emotionally charged production that toured Europe and premiered in both Münster and Budapest. It was broadcast on German, Hungarian, and Russian television and had truly crossed borders and found its voice in different cultures with renowned Lyricist Tim Hawkins.
I also composed PLEASE: The Rock Opera again with Lyricist Tim Hawkins, which premiered at the Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts. Produced by the Prince's Trust Dorset Invest in Futures and supported by many Companies and societies. This project was deeply personal. It was created to raise awareness about homelessness, especially the challenges faced by young people. The response was overwhelming, and it reminded me of the power music has to shine a light on urgent social issues.
My work in children’s television has been another joyful chapter:
I wrote the music for BBC series PC Pinkerton, The Brolleys, and Mr Men ABC. Crafting melodies that spark imagination and laughter for young audiences is a privilege I never take for granted. Whether I’m composing for a rock opera, a children’s show, or a grassroots campaign, my goal is the same: to create music that connects, uplifts, and inspires. I’m still as passionate today as I was when I first started, and I’m excited for whatever comes next.
